ADA Nondiscrimination Policy

The Jackson Hole Airport does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission to, access to, treatment of, or employment in its programs and activities. This notice is provided as required by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 504, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act of 1990. Questions, concerns, or requests for additional information can be directed to the ADA Compliance Coordinator at the Jackson Hole Airport.
Any person who believes she or he has been discriminated against on the basis of disability under Section 504 or the ADA should report the complaint to the ADA Coordinator who is the Assistant Director of Finance and Administration at (307) 733-7695, PO Box 159, Jackson, WY 83001, or coordinator@jhairport.org.

FAA Title VI Policy

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance. Specifically, Title VI provides that “no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” 42 U.S.C. Section 2000d. The Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982, Section 520 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, or sex. 49 U.S.C. Section 47123.

The Jackson Hole Airport Board, and its employees, lessees, tenants, concessionaires, contractors and airlines will not deny public services, employment and program opportunities to any person at the Jackson Hole Airport due to race, creed, color, national origin or sex, or be otherwise subjected to the specific discriminatory actions prohibited by 49 C.F.R. Part 21. Further, the Jackson Hole Airport Board will take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access to services for persons with limited English proficiency.

Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI should report the complaint to the Title VI Coordinator who is the Assistant Director of Finance and Administration at (307) 733-7695, PO Box 159, Jackson, WY 83001, or coordinator@jhairport.org. The Airport Board will forward all complaints to the FAA within 15 days of receipt.

The Jackson Hole Airport Board will be hosting a Public Open House on Monday, December 16th from 5-6:30 pm at the Teton County Library inside the Ordway Auditorium. Tony Chambers of Wind River Air, LLC will be giving a presentation, followed by public comment. Information and a recording of this meeting will be available after the meeting occurs. On December 27th, 2019, the Jackson Hole Airport Board sent a letter to the  Principal Operations Inspector at the Denver Flight Standards District Office. The letter gives a brief background on the heli-tour operations that are being proposed by Wind River Air, LLC and closes with a request from the Board for the  Denver Flights District Office to review the Letter of Authorization granted to Wind River Air, LLC to further consider safety concerns. Financial Information

The Jackson Hole Airport Board is a Joint Powers Board as defined under Wyoming State Statute. Each fiscal year, the Airport Board approves and adopts an annual budget and submits it to the Town of Jackson and Teton County for consideration. The Town and County must also approve Federal Grants that the Airport may receive. Additionally the Airport Board annually has had independent third party audits of the Airport’s finances to ensure accurate financial reporting. Audits from 2010 to present can be found below along with approved Budgets and Budget Presentations for the past two years.

Public Record Requests

Applications may be made to the Jackson Hole Airport Board for the inspection or production of public records under the Wyoming Public Records Act, W.S. §§16-4-201 through 16-4-204. Applications should be made in writing to the Designated Public Records Person (“DPRP”), which is the Assistant Airport Director, Finance and Administration. A request form is available here and may be submitted by e-mail to publicrecords@jhairport.org, or by mail to Jackson Hole Airport Board, Attn: DPRP, 1250 East Airport Road, PO Box 159, Jackson, WY 83001. Please make your request as detailed as possible. In accordance with the Wyoming Public Records Act and Board policy, public records will be released as soon as possible, but within thirty (30) calendar days unless extraordinary conditions prevent their release.
