JH Airport April Board Announces Two Meetings this Week
Jackson, Wyoming – The Jackson Hole Airport Board will hold two public meetings this week. On Thursday, April 23rd at 9:00 am, the regular monthly Board meeting will be reconvened to consider regular business items. Then on Friday, April 24th at 8:00 am, the Board will hold a special meeting to consider a proposed agreement with Wind River Air, LLC.
Members of the JH Airport Board will attend the meeting remotely with limited staff at the Airport Board Room to facilitate the meeting and the WebEx platform. Airport staff is working diligently to address technology issues which caused the Board’s April 17th meeting to be adjourned until this Thursday. Throughout the week, the jacksonholeairport.com website will be updated with information on how to engage in these meetings.
The JH Airport Board encourages the community to provide public comment and recommends participants submit comments in writing as the primary way to share, prior to the meeting Public comments to be read during the meeting, may be emailed to email@example.com. Emails must be received before 7 am on April 24th to be read into the record and should be two hundred words or less. Public comment can also be made on the WebEx platform, using the “raise hand” feature. This should be considered a secondary way to share comment.
JH Airport has kept a thorough record of all public comments submitted regarding Wind River Air’s proposal, and comments have been provided to each JH Board Member. All emails previously received at firstname.lastname@example.org, will be read aloud during the meeting.
JH Airport Board will post the WebEx link on its website. We recommend that first time users’ login early to ensure connectivity. The Special Meeting will begin streaming at 7:30 am for this purpose.
“We are thankful for the community’s patience and are confident we have addressed the technological issues from last week,” says JH Airport Board President Jerry Blann. “We look forward to hearing from the public and moving forward with our April meetings.”
