JAC Runway Impacts on December 25th

On December 25th at 8:50 pm, the Jackson Hole Airport had a piece of snow removal equipment disabled on the runway.  Because this piece of equipment was on the runaway, three inbound flights and one outbound flight were diverted or rescheduled to arrive and depart the Jackson Hole Airport on December 26th.  Airport personnel worked diligently to remove the piece of equipment off the runway, but the piece of equipment couldn’t be moved in time for the scheduled arrivals or the one departure. The Airlines have advised JAC that all passengers impacted by this situation have been re-booked to travel on Wednesday, December 26th.
