John P. Carey III

John was appointed to the Airport Board in February 2026. His background includes senior leadership roles in banking, law, and business, with experience spanning executive management, governance, and compliance.

A longtime visitor to Wyoming, John and his wife, Jane Hopkins Carey, became full-time valley residents in 2016. He volunteers as a Mountain Host at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, has served as a River Ambassador in Grand Teton National Park, and currently serves as an Election Judge and Precinct Committeeman in Teton County. He also has extensive experience serving on corporate and volunteer boards.
